I am a 30-something first time mom, living in Denver with my husband and our daughter, Ivy. Living out of state from our families is one of the most trying and difficult hurdles we’ve faced.
Being a mom is the most exhausting, terrifying, and empowering thing I’ve ever done. It’s taught me to trust my instincts, ask for help, and if needed, tell people where they can put their advice.
I am a nervous researcher to a fault, and have spent many an hour scouring every article and information source possible to find the “right way” to raise our baby. While I’m certainly no expert in child rearing, I’ve learned a lot along the way (spoiler alert: there isn’t any one “right way”).
I invite you to join me in the journey and adventures of motherhood.
